The Most-Viewed SS26 Shows: The Top 10 Collections on Runway Insider

The Spring/Summer 2026 season was defined by change, with a record number of creative director debuts. According to data from Runway Insider, the four most-viewed collections this season were all from incoming designers, proving that readers are eager to see the next chapter for major fashion houses.

The Most-Anticipated Debuts

  • Chanel: The buzz around Matthieu Blazy’s debut was undeniable. His collection, deeply rooted in the Chanel archives while introducing new, covetable textiles, was an instant hit. Blazy’s ability to reinterpret the house’s iconic codes while sparking desire made him the clear favorite.

  • Dior: Jonathan Anderson’s first collection for Dior captivated readers, securing a top spot on our list.

  • Gucci: Demna’s debut at Gucci also drew massive attention, showcasing his signature style while honoring the brand’s heritage.

  • Maison Margiela: Glenn Martens’s collection was a surprise breakout. After his critically acclaimed couture show, Martens reconnected with the street-level reality of the brand, creating clothes that referenced Martin Margiela’s deconstruction experiments in a fresh, modern way.

Other Standouts

The remaining spots on our list saw impressive movement from other top brands. Alessandro Michele’s Valentino jumped to sixth place, signaling that readers are responding to his simplified, yet elegant, vision for the label. Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut at Balenciaga also made it into the top 10, blending his unique brand of joy with the house’s signature style.

This season’s focus on debuts is a positive sign for the industry. With more new creative directors on the horizon for brands like Marni and Fendi, we can expect continued excitement and high viewership for upcoming seasons.
